History The company was founded in 1987. Originally starting with garden architecture and biological swimming-pools, it soon started as a retailer of trend gift articles. After a couple of successful years, sounding out new trends and sourcing new articles became the most important part of the business. Visiting trade shows and factories in Asia was very important to get to know the Asian markets and mentality. This knowledge was essential for succeeding as a wholesaler of trend articles.. With almost 15 years of experience in the Chinese market,in 2004, Avant Garden Group started to design and produce its MagneticTrends Collection in China. After a very successful start in fall 2004, we are now having over 300 business partners in Austria and Germany and a growing number of customers in France, Italy, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA, Brazil and the Carribbean Islands.
